Redlands Airfield is a proper microlighting grass field, located near Swindon.
We fly both fixed-wing and flex-wing from Redlands. The café is open at weekends during the summer months. Unfortunately café not available the rest of the time.
While you’re not flying, at weekends during the summer months, you can watch the skydivers from the school next door and get a bite to eat from the Tailwinds Café. Should you wish to eat at other times we have seven village pubs just down the road.
Redlands is also right on the edge of Swindon with the popular Designer Outlet and Steam Museum.
